Presentation Templates

Below, you’ll find excerpts from several presentation and slide decks I’ve designed. These were done with a variety of programs—from Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to PowerPoint and Keynote.

Regardless of the program or the medium, each presentation begins with the same question: what’s the goal?

Is it meant to be a companion piece to a verbal presentation? Or should it be able to stand alone? Is it going to be packed with visuals that need to standout against the template? Or does the template itself need to carry the content?

The goal and needs of each presentation change the approach and the result.

The Pure Romance Brand Promise

This presentation was created for Pure Romance’s VP of Product Development for their annual convention of direct sellers. The ask was for a visual companion to her script rather than a 1:1 translation of it.

My goal was to create a simple slide template that enhanced the presentation, rather than distracted, emphasizing her points with easy-to-understand visuals.

GoodNites + Star Wars Proposal

This presentation was created for the team at Huggies and GoodNites to present to internal teams at Disney/Lucasfilm to propose a partnership between their two brands.

Disney/Lucas had always been concerned about linking Star Wars to a diaper brand. The goal of this presentation was to bring to light that bedwetting is something that can continue after a child has left diapers, into adolescence and even the pre-teen years—the exact audience that shows like Star Wars Rebels were trying to cater to.

I owned the full design of the presentation, deciding to mimic in-universe graphics to marry the branding and demonstrate the brand’s familiarity and respect for the existing Star Wars Rebels brand.

Welch’s design work presentation

This is a simple template used to present design work to our client, Welch’s.

The goal of the template was to be adaptable while still keeping a consistent flow. Some pages are visual-heavy, requiring a stripped-down layout so as not to distract from the design work. Other pages are content-light, allowing the branding and template design to be better brought to the forefront.
